The Role
As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Devising innovative solutions to complex client challenges.
- Delivering business outcomes through technology with a focus on results.
- Building relationships with senior stakeholders and enhancing client loyalty.
- Mentoring junior colleagues in technical and consultancy skills.
- Collaborating with Delivery Directors to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Shaping the go-to-market strategy for the Financial Services and Insurance sector.
- Leading technical aspects of bids and pitches, including client discussions and proposal writing.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in insurance and financial services.
- Enhancing Softwire’s reputation through writing and speaking engagements.
- Networking and representing Softwire at industry events.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience in technical roles, with at least 4 years in an agency or consultancy context.
- Expertise in data engineering, cloud architecture, digital platform architecture, or AI engineering.
- Experience in financial services, particularly in insurance markets.
- A proven track record of delivering high-value client outcomes.
- Strong consulting and advisory skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Experience in pre-sales activities and a desire to engage in go-to-market work.
Package
Softwire offers a transparent pay structure with a base salary ranging from £110,400 to £124,200, along with an average profit share of £19,000 to £25,250. Additional benefits include a pension contribution, generous annual leave, and flexible working options.
