An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Portfolio Manager specializing in HFT and Intraday Futures at a prominent global futures trading firm. This organization, which has established itself as a market maker, is now expanding into proprietary trading and is seeking skilled Quant Traders and Portfolio Managers to create and manage independent trading desks with a performance-based compensation model.

The successful candidate will have experience in cross-asset futures trading, utilizing various strategies that range from high-frequency trading models to intraday and some overnight positions. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in futures trading, showcasing a strong Sharpe ratio and positive PnL/returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage an independent trading desk within the firm, integrating with existing trading systems.
• Develop and enhance trading tools as necessary to support trading strategies.
• Implement and oversee high-frequency trading and intraday strategies in the futures markets.
• Conduct research to identify new alpha opportunities and optimize current trading models.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantitative Trader in the futures markets, demonstrating a verifiable track record.
• Proficient in Python programming, with additional experience in C++ being advantageous.
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD in a relevant field.
