Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain technology platforms and infrastructure that support software applications and services.
• Create and manage systems and tools that facilitate efficient application development, deployment, and operation.
• Actively participate in the cloud platform engineering community, sharing insights and keeping up with trends and best practices.
• Contribute significantly to team objectives, particularly in the design and maintenance of cloud-based platforms.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work independently on specific tasks, showcasing initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Begin to take on leadership roles, which may include mentoring junior engineers and leading smaller project teams.
• Assist in gathering and reviewing requirements for ESM platforms and support business initiatives by building scalable solutions.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Oversee software performance across the full technology stack.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of platform engineering principles and practices, particularly in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, automation, and scalability.
• Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.
• Experience in mentoring or leading teams is a plus.
• Foundational knowledge of ESM platforms and processes.
