An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our Inpatient Intermediate Care and Stroke Rehabilitation Service in Barnet. This role is based across Finchley Memorial Hospital and Edgware Community Hospital, where you will be part of a supportive Physiotherapy team and a wider multidisciplinary team, dedicated to providing high-quality rehabilitation to adults facing a range of complex physical needs and disabilities due to illness, injury, surgery, stroke, or long-term conditions.

As a Physiotherapist, you will assess and support patients through individualized rehabilitation programs, focusing on improving their mobility, function, and independence while ensuring safe transitions throughout their rehabilitation journey. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your clinical skills within a diverse inpatient rehabilitation environment, collaborating with experienced clinicians to achieve positive patient outcomes across Barnet.

Main Duties

• Deliver and maintain high standards of rehabilitation services.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitians, Rehabilitation Assistants, Speech and Language Therapists, and Social Workers.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

• Essential: Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy, current HPC registration, and evidence of an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
• Desirable: Membership in the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a valid UK driver’s license.
• Essential: Experience working as part of an MDT, completing assessments, and creating treatment plans in various clinical specialties.
• Desirable: Experience in delegation and working within the NHS.
• Essential: Understanding of professional ethics, team dynamics, health legislation, risk assessment, and clinical governance.
• Desirable: Experience in teaching junior staff/students and involvement in research and audit.
