We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to oversee our Rugby patch Sewage Treatment Works, part of the Waste Water Recycling (WWR) South region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing, multifunctional team to deliver exceptional service. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading an operational team of 19 direct reports to effectively manage a diverse asset base.
• Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders such as Capital Commercial Services and external partners like The Environment Agency.
• Driving performance improvements and sustainability initiatives through innovative techniques.
• Managing a budget of approximately £10 million while achieving efficiency savings.
• Contributing to the overall strategy and initiatives of the company.

We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in team management within a customer-focused environment. Candidates should have experience in handling complex employee relations and performance issues, particularly during transitions. The ability to work under pressure, respond to emergencies, and meet targets is essential. While knowledge of wastewater treatment processes is beneficial, it is not a requirement. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are crucial, along with a positive attitude and a commitment to community service.

In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £54,652, a car allowance of £4,800 per annum, and standby allowances. You will also be eligible for an annual bonus of up to £2,250 based on company performance.
