Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring a solid understanding of Android platform capabilities and mobile design patterns.
• Design and implement clean, testable, and maintainable low-level designs, APIs, and data models for mobile features that integrate with backend services.
• Apply software engineering best practices in coding, testing, and continuous integration to ensure high reliability and performance of Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions and deliver features iteratively with a strong customer focus.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions responsibly to improve user outcomes while adhering to privacy and security standards.
• Adapt your Android engineering skills to work across various domains and services as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in building and shipping Android applications using Kotlin in a production environment.
• Proven ability to design and implement mobile low-level designs and work with service-oriented backends.
• Proficiency with core Android development tools and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jetpack libraries and modern Android tooling.
• Awareness of performance considerations on mobile and experience using profiling tools.
• Comfortable defining and implementing test strategies.
• Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles on Android.
• Experience working in Agile teams and communicating effectively about progress and risks.
