We are excited to announce an opening for a Maths and/or English Teacher/Tutor at Luccombe Hub, located in Blandford Forum, Dorset. This position is ideal for a dynamic and passionate educator who is eager to deliver engaging and innovative learning experiences to students aged 8-18.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths and/or English, with a focus on supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential for this role. The position is permanent and will be based at our specialist independent school in Milton Abbas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and innovative learning experiences in Maths and/or English.
- Support and teach young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting.
- Ensure a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the welfare of children.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching and supporting young people with SEN.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to create personalized and holistic learning experiences.
