We are currently seeking a Managing Consultant / Senior Manager to join our Energy Transition & Utilities practice, which is experiencing significant growth due to increased demand for our services.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the delivery of major advisory and transformation services across various sectors, including Energy Networks, Energy Retail, Energy Central Markets, Water, and Nuclear. You will leverage your expertise in GB energy market systems and regulation to guide complex technical and regulatory changes, contributing to market-wide transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and assessment of technical changes to energy industry central systems.
• Oversee the implementation of industry changes from a central code body perspective, coordinating with all affected parties.
• Provide trusted advice to senior clients on technical aspects of the regulatory framework.
• Translate policy and regulatory developments into practical solutions for industry challenges.
• Engage and train industry parties and senior stakeholders.
• Develop strategies to improve energy consumer outcomes and system performance.
• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Manage complex workstreams and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring accountability for quality and delivery.
• Contribute to initiatives across the Energy Transition & Utilities sector, including client relationship development and team support.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of GB Energy Market regulation and the ability to interpret regulatory changes.
• Experience in energy system operations and familiarity with the physical energy system.
• Background working with organizations in the regulated energy sector.
• Leadership and management consulting skills, with the ability to lead complex changes.
• Knowledge of modern architecture frameworks and technologies.
• Experience in shaping and leading change programs and driving operational improvements.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and lead teams effectively.
