We are currently seeking an experienced senior leader to join our Energy Transition & Utilities practice, which is experiencing significant growth. This role focuses on providing major advisory, consulting, and transformation services across various sectors, including Energy Networks, Energy Retail, Energy Central Markets, Water, and Nuclear.
As a Manager or Senior Manager within our Nuclear team, you will play a crucial role in setting direction, advancing the business, and fostering senior client relationships. You will also coach and develop junior team members while leading client engagements across the entire civil nuclear lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading high-profile nuclear energy projects that enable clients and the UK to achieve a sustainable energy future.
- Collaborating with a diverse team of experts in civil engineering, digital and data, business operations, and emerging technologies.
- Engaging with clients at all levels to enhance project execution and operational performance.
- Shaping strategy and driving growth for our nuclear business.
- Building and maintaining senior client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Coaching junior team members and modeling company values.
- Contributing to business development and thought leadership initiatives.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities proactively.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Experience in the civil nuclear sector, including engineering, construction, operations, commissioning, and decommissioning.
- Strong consulting skills, with a background in a major consulting firm or relevant industry experience.
- Solid commercial understanding and the ability to leverage networks for revenue growth.
- Proven ability to drive improvement initiatives based on insights from the civil nuclear lifecycle and other sectors.
- Success in a matrixed organization, gaining support from peers for consulting solutions.
