About the Role

The internship will last for six months, during which you will work within the e-FIC team, which specializes in quantitative research for electronic trading of Fixed Income and Currency products. Your role will involve assisting with daily operations and contributing to the development of automated solutions for market making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the e-FIC team with daily business operations under supervision.
  • Help design and develop algorithmic tools for pricing, quoting, risk management, and execution to automate market making activities in Fixed Income and Currency products.
  • Conduct research and analysis using historical data to create models for automation tools.
  • Collaborate with Trading, Sales, and IT departments to ensure timely project delivery that meets all stakeholders’ standards.
  • Continuously enhance existing models to adapt to the evolving market environment.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Quantitative Finance, or Engineering.
  • Demonstrate excellent programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, Java, R, or similar.
  • Have experience in data manipulation and database management.
  • Show a keen interest in financial markets, economics, and quantitative finance.
  • Experience with electronic markets, models, and arbitrage strategies is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exhibit a delivery-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
