In the role of Live Solutions Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team at YouTube, where we believe in empowering individuals to share their stories and connect with others. Responsibilities
- Drive growth by showcasing technical expertise and leadership, translating complex concepts into insights for stakeholders.
- Configure stream encoders according to specific profile requirements.
- Map and implement live signal chains from professional capture to encoding.
- Conduct network readiness assessments and troubleshoot technical systems in real-time.
- Develop automation solutions and technology integrations, such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), to enhance events.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Broadcast Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in live broadcasts, streaming protocols, and digital video broadcasting.
- Experience in technical consulting, partnership management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and platforms.
- Experience with streaming architectures.
