An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Java Software Engineer with a prominent semiconductor company that specializes in high-performance mixed-signal processing, located in London. This role offers the chance to design and enhance cross-platform applications, SDKs, and developer tooling.

As a Java Software Engineer, you will work closely with UX specialists, hardware teams, and other software engineers to develop polished internal tools that facilitate advanced hardware configuration and tuning workflows. The position follows a hybrid working model, requiring at least one day per week in the London office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cross-platform applications, SDKs, and developer tools.
• Collaborate with UX specialists, hardware teams, and fellow software engineers to create polished internal tools.
• Support advanced hardware configuration and tuning workflows.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in desktop application development, particularly with Java UI frameworks such as JavaFx, Swing, or Qt.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
• Experience with multithreaded development.
• Familiarity with build automation tools (CI/CD) and Docker is preferred.
