As an Industry Manager for the Retail team at Google, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth for one of our most significant clients. Your expertise in the retail sector and understanding of Google’s advertising solutions will be crucial in helping this client achieve their business objectives in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Your responsibilities will include building and managing relationships with C-level clients and executive stakeholders, developing a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics. You will structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and the clients, leading cross-functional teams within Google to collaborate on projects that drive client success.

To succeed in this role, you will need to plan for and achieve growth goals by presenting Google advertising products and solutions that align with clients’ marketing objectives. You will also be responsible for developing forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that quantify opportunities for clients.

To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing. Alternatively, 6 years of experience with an advanced degree will suffice. Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients is essential, and preferred qualifications include managing relationships with customers or agencies at an executive level, experience in communications planning, and familiarity with Influencer Marketing Agencies and Creative Agencies.
