We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer with substantial experience in the London Markets and Lloyd’s of London to support intricate Property & Casualty insurance programs. This role emphasizes the configuration, customization, and integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter within large-scale enterprise insurance platforms.

Your Role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain configuration components for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Enhance and develop GOSU code, including creating custom GOSU plugins.
  • Configure various elements such as Product Model, PCFs, Underwriting Rules, Admin Data, and Activities.
  • Utilize rating configuration experience when applicable.
  • Work with Guidewire Web Services using SOAP/REST and XML.
  • Apply a strong understanding of Guidewire configuration concepts and best practices.
  • Support workflows specific to the London Market, including delegated authority and bordereaux processing.
  • Collaborate with both business and technical teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Your Skills:

  • 8 to 10 years of overall experience with Guidewire applications.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in PolicyCenter configuration development.
  • Proficient in Java, GOSU, GOSU Plugins, Product Model, Underwriting Rules, PCFs, Admin Data, and Activities.
  • Experience with Lloyd’s of London insurance platforms and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Lloyd’s of London processes, including syndicates, coverholders, binders, and slips.
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
