Graduate Quality Overview

As a Graduate Quality Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Quality function, engaging in a variety of tasks that will enhance your understanding of the business, lifecycle phases, supply chain, products, and customers. This position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage quality issues through investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification processes.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting quality assurance and control activities.
• Managing and performing internal audits of products, processes, and systems.
• Supporting third-party, customer, supplier, and regulatory approval visits.
• Performing first article verifications and factory acceptance tests for new and updated equipment.
• Providing product certification and release documentation.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, along with a £2,000 welcome bonus. The role includes hybrid and flexible working arrangements, with an expectation to be on-site 3-5 days per week. To qualify for this role, you must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in any subject.
