As a Graduate Modelling and Simulation Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in the engineering lifecycle, contributing to the development of advanced technology-led defence and aerospace solutions. This position is based in Warton/Samlesbury, Lancashire, and offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum along with a £2,000 welcome bonus.
Your responsibilities will include creating simulation solutions and integrating them with existing capabilities, collaborating with colleagues and customers to understand their needs, managing and planning your tasks, and developing your skills through training and practical experience. You will also provide technical support to your team to ensure objectives are met.
The Air Team at BAE Systems has a rich history in the development and support of combat and fast jet trainer aircraft, including the Typhoon, F-35, and Tempest. Joining this team means being part of a global network dedicated to pioneering progress and ensuring safety.
To qualify for this role, you must have obtained or be predicted to obtain at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Games Development, Computer Graphics, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM subjects with modelling and simulation modules.
This position is permanent and is set to start on 6th September 2027. The closing date for applications is Thursday, 24 September 2026, at 08:43 (UK time).
