With over 100,000 active riders and 1,200 corporate accounts, we are a profitable and rapidly growing scale-up, having raised $43 million and generating over $100 million in annual revenue. As we expand our operations in New York City and beyond, we are looking for a passionate General Manager to lead our largest market in London.
In this role, you will take charge of a business generating close to $100 million in annual gross bookings, overseeing a team of over 1,200 chauffeurs and managing four distinct teams. You will work closely with our CEO and executive team, allowing you to make impactful decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position demands a high level of commitment and a genuine passion for excellence, as you will be responsible for a 24/7 operation catering to discerning customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the P&L for the London market.
- Oversee the offline product, including pricing, availability, and fleet composition.
- Lead four local teams: Driver Operations, Quality & Training (Chauffeur Academy), Sales (Wheely for Business), and Marketing.
- Drive business development to identify and capitalize on new expansion and partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with the central Product team to enhance the passenger and chauffeur experience.
- Develop regulatory strategies to navigate London’s complex licensing environment.
- Represent the company externally, engaging with the press, partnerships, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field or Economics from a leading university.
- At least 10 years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or high-growth tech.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be based in Central London.
