As the EMEA Marketing Measurement Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the measurement team that evaluates and optimizes Google’s marketing investments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Google’s marketing strategies are data-driven and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the measurement team focused on assessing and optimizing Google’s marketing investments across the EMEA region.
  • Develop a comprehensive measurement roadmap to address complex data inquiries for EMEA marketing campaigns.
  • Establish data requirements and analytical frameworks to enhance media measurement initiatives.
  • Set ambitious measurement objectives that align with global marketing goals.
  • Drive AI transformation efforts to boost productivity and foster innovation while adhering to Google’s AI Principles.
  • Oversee the analysis of complex datasets to provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in statistical analyses and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership, including Media Centers of Excellence, Finance, and Product Areas, to guide marketing budget allocation and address intricate statistical queries.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Business Data Scientists and Analysts.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across Google’s marketing analytics and data science communities.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Engineering, or Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 9 years of experience utilizing analytics to address product or business challenges, including coding skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in people management, including leading and developing technical and analytical teams.
  • Experience in writing, reviewing, and maintaining code for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proven ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences.
