Disability Support Workers – In-Home Support | Rouse Hill & Hills District Nurture and Care Solutions · Full-time $80,000+ super full-time
About us Nurture and Care Solutions is an NDIS registered provider supporting people with disability to live safely, independently and on their own terms. We’re growing our in-home support team across Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Box Hill, Riverstone, Schofields and the wider Hills District.
About the role You’ll provide person-centred support to participants in their own homes and in the community. Morning, day, evening and weekend shifts are available.
What you’ll do
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Assist with meal preparation, household tasks and medication prompting
- Support participants to attend appointments and community and social activities
- Encourage independence, choice and progress toward personal goals
- Follow support plans and complete accurate shift notes and incident reports
- Help maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive environment
What we’re looking for
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability/Ageing) or equivalent
- [1+ year] experience in disability, aged care or community support
- Compassionate, reliable and professional
- Strong communication skills and good written English for documentation
- Able to work independently in participants’ homes
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (current)
- NSW Working With Children Check (employee)
- First Aid and CPR certificates (current)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed
- Driver’s licence, reliable car and comprehensive insurance
- Two recent professional references
- Right to work in Australia, or see below
