Join RSM for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in audit with a 12-month paid placement starting on September 14, 2027. As part of one of the world’s largest networks of audit, tax, and consulting firms, you will gain invaluable practical experience while working alongside both trainees and seasoned audit professionals.

In this role, you will be a vital member of our audit team, engaging in thorough, risk-focused evaluations of clients’ financial records and controls. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in real client projects from day one, initially as part of a larger team and later taking on individual responsibilities.
• Working with a diverse clientele, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and not-for-profit organizations.

To be considered for this placement, you should meet the following criteria:

• Hold a minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualifications), or 104 UCAS points from four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Be enrolled in a placement degree program.
• Have a permanent right to live and work in the UK.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information.
• Demonstrate analytical abilities to interpret data and solve problems.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and remain calm under pressure.
• Show a genuine interest in business and commerce, along with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Be willing to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
