Join a dynamic audit team at RSM for a 12-month paid placement starting on September 14, 2027, as part of your sandwich degree. This opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience while working alongside both trainees and seasoned audit professionals.

As a member of the audit team, you will engage in comprehensive, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and fostering trust among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Become an integral part of the audit team from day one, participating in client work and gradually taking on individual project responsibilities.
• Collaborate with a diverse clientele, including owner-managed businesses, large listed companies, charities, pension schemes, and not-for-profit organizations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS points from four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Enrollment in a placement degree program is essential.
• Must have an existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information.
• Aptitude for analyzing and interpreting data to address problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and maintaining composure under pressure.
• A genuine interest in business and commerce, complemented by strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as necessary.
