Internship Overview

The internship is designed to immerse participants in a dynamic financial services environment, beginning with a fundamentals week that introduces them to Rothesay, their teams, and the industry. Interns will receive both on-desk and off-desk training, enhancing their career prospects post-graduation.

Key Responsibilities

• Join the Trading and Asset Origination teams, engaging in asset origination, trading, and quantitative risk trading.
• Analyze, manage risk, and execute trades involving liquid financial instruments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities for alpha generation.
• Source potential deals and assist in managing the execution process in less liquid markets, including conducting detailed analyses and building financial models.
• Support the quantitative risk trading team in analyzing potential asset purchases and developing risk management strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Must be a penultimate year student graduating in Summer 2028.
• Possess strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Show a clear interest in a career in financial services, particularly in trading or structured finance.
