Role Overview

The Associate Dentist will be responsible for a range of duties including examining patients’ dental health, performing X-rays, providing treatments, and educating patients on oral hygiene. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations of patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose dental health issues.
• Perform X-ray procedures as necessary.
• Administer dental treatments and develop health-based treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Prescribe medications as required.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment is maintained.
• Engage in restorative and cosmetic dentistry tasks as needed.
• Consider opportunities for specialization in specific fields or skill sets.

Requirements

• Possess a valid dentistry degree.
• Currently registered or willing to register with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Available to work either full-time or part-time.
• Demonstrate professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written, meeting the minimum standards set by the Home Office for international applicants.
• Be open to NHS training if applicable.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Complete health checks as required by the company.
• Applicants may include EU dental associates with a GDC number or without registration, as long as their studies were completed within the EU.
• Worldwide dental associates with GDC registration and previous UK work experience are also eligible.
• Worldwide dental associates requiring VTE mentoring for one year will be considered.
