Hotfix for Cut / Copy Insufficient Memory issue in Visual Studio 2010

The Visual Studio team had several reports of an issue that a message is displayed when trying to do a Cut or Copy in Visual Studio 2010 RTM.

The message looked like this .

“Insufficient available memory to meet the expected demands of an operation at this time, possibly due to virtual address space fragmentation. Please try again later.”

There is now a patch available which you can download here. This patch file or hot fix will solve the “Insufficient available memory to meet the expected demands of an operation at this time, possibly due to virtual address space fragmentation. Please try again later” error message “.

The Hotfix file size is about 1.65 MB .
