BlackRock offers a unique six-month paid internship program tailored for service leavers and elite athletes, aimed at developing their professional skills and understanding of the asset management and financial services sectors. This program provides an excellent opportunity to prepare for future careers within the industry.
Interns will have the chance to explore diverse roles across various divisions, including:
- Aladdin Client Business: This division focuses on global investment technology and transformation, partnering with major financial institutions to optimize the Aladdin platform.
- Client Services & Solutions: This client-facing organization aims to enhance the client experience and improve collaboration across teams.
To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Service leavers must have served in the UK regular armed forces for a minimum of three years and have left regular service within the last 12 months.
- Elite athletes must have represented a professional team or their country at a senior international level.
- All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the location they are applying for.
The application deadline is October 5th, 2026, with the program set to commence in February 2027. Candidates are encouraged to submit a cover letter along with their CV during the application process.
