Experienced Class 5 Driver Wanted – Nationwide Work

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 5 driver to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent, long-term nationwide work.

The Role

• Minimum 30 hours per week
• Nationwide work throughout New Zealand
• You will be required to be away from home for a week or more, including weekends.
• Driving truck & trailer and/or B-train combinations
• Minimum 1 year of Class 5 driving experience, or relevant heavy vehicle driving experience
• Class 5 licence required, or overseas heavy vehicle licence eligible for conversion
• D endorsement required, or must be willing and able to obtain one
• F endorsement required, or must be willing and able to obtain one
• Truck & trailer and/or B-train experience preferred and must be confident and experienced in reversing
• Responsible for delivering freight safely and on time
• Loading and unloading freight in a safe and responsible manner
• Must be punctual, reliable and well organised
• Good English communication skills required
• Must follow company rules, procedures and health & safety requirements at all times
• Successful applicant must pass a company interview

Pre-Employment & Health & Safety Requirements

• Successful candidate will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Successful candidate must consent to a criminal background check
• Random drug and alcohol testing may be carried out during employment
• No smoking or vaping
• Must comply with all company and customer health & safety requirements
• Must maintain a professional and safety-focused approach at all times

Overseas Applicants

Overseas applicants are welcome to apply if they have at least 1 year of Class 5/heavy truck driving experience and meet the requirements of the position.

Visa support may be available for the right candidate, subject to eligibility and applicable New Zealand immigration requirements.
