The Summer Internship for Software Developers at TPP is an excellent opportunity for university students in their penultimate year to gain hands-on experience in software development. Interns will work closely with experienced Software Developers on a variety of exciting projects, contributing to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.
This internship typically lasts between 8 to 12 weeks, although there is flexibility regarding the duration and start dates. Interns will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with various teams across the company to scope, design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions.
Interns will have the chance to work on diverse projects, including:
- Development of iOS and Android applications for patients and clinicians.
- Creating technologies to support public health initiatives and clinical trials.
- Building a new platform for sharing clinical tools.
- Integrating with Apple’s HealthKit.
- Exploring the application of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare.
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be a university student in their penultimate year.
- Have a predicted degree classification of 2:1 or above.
- Achieve AAA at A-level, including an A in Mathematics.
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of £2,500 and will benefit from working in a close-knit, collaborative environment where they can learn from experienced colleagues. This internship is designed to provide a representative sample of day-to-day working life at TPP, where the work has a significant impact on healthcare.
