Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient business services that facilitate critical acquiring and chargeback processes.
- Develop and maintain event-driven solutions to ensure reliable processing of business transactions and operational workflows.
- Create and enhance service interfaces for seamless integration between enterprise applications and various business domains.
- Oversee the efficient ingestion, transformation, validation, and routing of data across interconnected systems.
- Implement effective messaging and event-processing patterns to enhance reliability, observability, and responsiveness of business operations.
- Design data models and persistence strategies that ensure performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into effective engineering solutions and measurable results.
- Promote engineering excellence through continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and adherence to secure delivery practices.
- Identify opportunities for innovation by leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-assisted methodologies, to enhance delivery outcomes.
- Support the development of a future-ready team culture through mentoring, collaboration, and ongoing learning initiatives.
Must-Have Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and delivering cloud-native application solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and supporting API-led integration services.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing patterns.
- Experience in designing scalable, resilient, and secure distributed applications.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration principles and service-oriented design.
- Experience in modeling and managing transactional and operational data solutions.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Understanding of secure software delivery and engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and approaches that enhance productivity and delivery effectiveness.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and other related cloud-native capabilities.
- Familiarity with NATS JetStream or similar event-streaming and messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of REST API design frameworks and associated governance practices.
- Understanding of microservices architecture patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling and practices.
- Background in payments, merchant acquiring, chargebacks, or dispute management domains.
- AWS certifications or other relevant cloud certifications.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and operational support frameworks.
