In the role of Product Manager for Android App Performance at Google, you will be at the forefront of driving product development and enhancing user experiences. Your primary focus will be on managing product goals and roadmaps, particularly in the realm of app performance, where you will leverage AI-driven insights to improve outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include owning the product roadmap, actively using the tools you manage to develop Android applications, and providing valuable feedback based on your experiences. You will work closely with various cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and Developer Relations, to ensure a cohesive approach to product performance.

To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with a minimum of 5 years in product management or a related technical field. You must have at least 2 years of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch and be familiar with mobile application development for Android or iOS. Experience in defining and delivering developer tools is also essential.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in a technology or business-related field, 3 years of experience in a business function such as marketing or consulting, and experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership. Additionally, having 2 years of experience in software development or engineering and working cross-functionally with various stakeholders will be advantageous.
