As a Managing Consultant specializing in Cloud Economics and FinOps at Capgemini Invent, you will be integral to our Cloud Advisory capability, which focuses on guiding organizations through their cloud adoption journey. Your role will involve advising clients on how to create effective business and revenue models, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reducing carbon footprints through cloud solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and analyzing cloud usage to identify cost-saving opportunities and guiding users on optimizing their cloud consumption.
• Preparing comprehensive financial reports and forecasts to present to senior management, providing insights into cloud spending trends.
• Establishing governance policies and best practices for cloud usage to ensure financial accountability.
• Training teams on FinOps best practices and fostering a culture of cost awareness.
• Managing relationships with cloud vendors to enhance service delivery.
• Contributing to business development through proposals, client pitches, and internal initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Experience in FinOps projects and the establishment of Cloud FinOps Centers of Excellence.
• A FinOps certification and familiarity with cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud billing, metering, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Hands-on experience with FinOps tools like Cloudability and AWS Cost Explorer.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques and contracting models.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and engage with clients.
