Students benefit from small class sizes, close interaction with research-active staff, and a learning environment that encourages discussion, debate, and the critical analysis of historical sources.

The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate modules in British History spanning the Georgian period to the twentieth century, contribute to teaching in intellectual history, act as a personal tutor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research.
