Lead AI Engineer Overview

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems at an enterprise level. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between AI prototypes and the integration of data and AI solutions into business operations. The successful candidate will ensure that AI solutions are scaled responsibly and effectively, transitioning from development to live deployment while maximizing business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive AI and machine learning systems, overseeing the entire process from data preparation to model deployment and monitoring.
• Utilize advanced Generative AI frameworks and tools to deliver innovative solutions.
• Translate business requirements into effective data and AI architectures using appropriate cloud services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to fulfill complex project requirements.
• Architect and deploy Generative AI solutions, ensuring ethical and responsible practices throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions provide measurable business value.
• Contribute to business development by creating client-ready demonstrations and supporting technical proposals.
• Develop internal resources and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency across projects.
• Engage in capability development by contributing to thought leadership and internal projects related to emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a consulting environment or industry, with a strong ability to navigate matrixed organizations.
• Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define project requirements and develop solutions.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing MLOps strategies and delivering AI/ML solutions at scale.
• In-depth knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in designing cloud-native data and AI architectures using platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, or Databricks.
• Ability to showcase how scaling AI can unlock business value.
• Technical expertise in deploying AI solutions on major cloud platforms and building automated AI/ML pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Generative and Agentic AI frameworks and proficiency in CI/CD and containerization technologies.
