Lead AI Engineer Overview

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer who will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems at an enterprise level. This position focuses on bridging the gap between AI prototypes and the integration of data and AI solutions into business operations, ensuring that these solutions are scaled responsibly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive AI and machine learning systems, overseeing the entire process from data preparation to model deployment and monitoring.
• Utilize advanced Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks, including ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Llamaindex to deliver innovative solutions.
• Translate AI use case requirements into effective data and AI architectures using appropriate cloud services from major providers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to fulfill complex project requirements and ensure successful execution.
• Architect and deploy Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and orchestration of large language models across cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Integrate safety, evaluation, and assurance mechanisms throughout the AI lifecycle to ensure ethical and responsible AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions deliver tangible business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a major consulting firm or industry, demonstrating a consulting mindset and the ability to navigate a matrixed organization.
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical client sponsors to collaboratively design and implement solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing MLOps strategies and frameworks, with a successful track record in delivering AI/ML solutions at scale.
• In-depth knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in designing cloud-native data and AI architectures utilizing platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, or Databricks.
• Ability to showcase how scaling AI can unlock business value and impact.
