Job Overview

– Java 11+ – strong object-oriented design, concurrency, and collections

– Spring – Boot, Security, REST services, and dependency injection

– RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MsSQL) – schema design, indexing, query tuning, and performance optimization

– Cache (Ignite) – compute grid, cache, SQL, persistence, data affinity

– REST APIs – secure, versioned, well-documented endpoints (Open API/Swagger)

– Build & CI/CD – Maven, Jenkins (multi-branch pipelines, build automation)

– AWS – EC2, RDS/Aurora, VPC/networking fundamentals

• Experience with large-scale enterprise-wide IT environments containing multiple technologies, physical and logical environments.

• Experience in Agile delivery methodology including continuous integration, unit testing, refactoring, continuous deployment and related approaches.

Desirable Criteria:

• Knowledge of commodity trading and/or Credit Risk trading domain.

• Experience in developing and deploying factor models, portfolio optimizers and trading valuation algorithms.

• Proficiency in statistical modelling and understanding of the various mathematical techniques used.

• Background or knowledge in quants, preferably volatility derivatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £400.00-£500.00 per day
