Graduate Security Consultant Overview

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to embark on a career in Security & Resilience within a highly regulated and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience across various aspects of security, including physical, personnel, information, and operational resilience, aimed at safeguarding sensitive assets and operations.

Core Duties

• Interpret, implement, and monitor security controls for the protection of classified assets on site.
• Provide security advice to employees, helping to mitigate threats and conducting threat and risk assessments as necessary.
• Support the delivery of security services for the F-35 and Typhoon programmes, ensuring compliance with company, customer, and government security requirements.
• Promote security awareness and best practices across programme teams, and support investigations into security incidents when required.
• Assist in maintaining business continuity and operational resilience documentation, records, and reporting, as well as completing resilience assessments and reviews.
• Participate in resilience exercises, test activities, workshops, and track resulting actions.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must have obtained or be predicted to obtain at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in relevant fields such as Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.

Working Environment

The role is based in Warton/Samlesbury, Lancashire, with a hybrid working model that requires attendance on site 3-4 days per week.
