Responsibilities

• Analyze threat data and implement technical solutions to enhance security measures.
• Innovate and develop extensions to detection paradigms in a comprehensive manner.
• Review, comprehend, and reverse engineer phishing attacks and related technologies.
• Understand and implement various attack vectors to improve detection capabilities.
• Develop detection algorithms using programming languages such as Python or C# and extract identifying features from phishing emails.
• Study human behavior and communication methods to identify potential exploitation by attackers.
• Utilize machine learning techniques to recognize broader phishing trends and devise protective strategies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation tasks.
• Proven ability to write clean and efficient code.
• Expertise in programming languages, particularly Python or C#.
• Familiarity with standard machine learning algorithms, including linear/logistic regression, decision trees, and random forests, as well as libraries like Scikit-Learn or TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technological areas.
• Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to think outside the box or adopt a malicious perspective to devise innovative solutions.
