Bank of America is seeking candidates for a 12-month Industrial Placement Analyst role in Chester, UK, as part of its Global Technology, Technology Infrastructure program. This opportunity is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, allowing them to gain practical experience in technology roles that support the bank’s operations.

About the Program

The Technology Infrastructure Programme offers non-software development roles within the Chief Technology Organization (CTO). Participants will engage with various teams, including Hosting, Application & Database Services, Network Services, Business Operations, Datacentre Services, and Mainframe Services.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support core infrastructure critical for the bank’s daily operations.
• As an Infrastructure Engineer, maintain and enhance technology infrastructure, including servers and databases.
• As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, assist in delivering secure cloud-based solutions and learn about cloud technologies.
• Support the bank’s networks as a Network Engineer, focusing on monitoring and performance management.
• Work as a Mainframe Engineer to support large-scale systems and gain hands-on experience.
• Engage in Service Delivery to assist technology teams with project management and operational activities.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Currently pursuing a degree with expected graduation between September 2028 and July 2029.
• On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
• Must have a 12-month placement program as part of the academic curriculum.
• Available to start in June 2027 for the full duration of the program.
