FX Implementation Specialist- Financial Solutions Overview

As a crucial member of the E-Trading Implementation team specializing in FX, you will engage in both technical presales and project management delivery. Your role will encompass managing implementations for both buy-side and sell-side clients across all electronic trading workflows on the FXGO Platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer e-trading and post-trade initiatives are executed efficiently and within deadlines.

In this position, you will actively identify risks and dependencies throughout the implementation process. You will work closely with our sales team, partner with various internal departments, and maintain direct communication with clients. Your deep product knowledge and understanding of trading activities, technology, and operational workflows will be essential in navigating this rapidly changing environment.

You will provide account coverage for sell-side clients and locational coverage for buy-side clients, while also managing relationships with relevant third-party vendors. Your projects will involve a variety of proprietary and third-party systems, primarily focused on the Foreign Exchange (FX) market, as well as a diverse range of security types including Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Repo, Mortgages, Emerging Markets, Money Markets, and MUNIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales advice to both Buy-side and Sell-side customers to identify the best E-Trading and Post-Trade workflow solutions.
• Qualify and lead implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery of e-trading and post-trade initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with OMS and EMS vendors.
• Continuously develop your knowledge of E-Trading platforms and markets to identify system issues and propose improvements.
• Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Production Support teams.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of financial products across the FX markets.
• Consistent track record of delivering E-Trading and Post-Trade projects.
• Prior technical experience in trading system implementations, EMS, and OMS.
• Strong understanding of the FIX protocol.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to foster relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Regulatory knowledge in MiFID2, SEF, and EMIR.
• Prior experience with Bloomberg platforms in Global Markets.
• Fluency in an additional European language.
• Programming background.
