As a key member of Capgeminiâs Intelligent Finance and Accounting Operation (IFAO) Team, the FP&A Transformation Consultant will play a crucial role in guiding clients through large-scale transformations utilizing cutting-edge automation and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building trusting relationships with FP&A stakeholders and possess expertise in advanced Finance & Accounting processes driven by automation and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients in the UK and globally to enhance their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes and business outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and commercial decision support initiatives enabled by technology.
- Work closely with client finance and controllership teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics.
- Manage FP&A process assessments, design, and implementation projects, identifying opportunities for modernization and simplification.
- Prepare documentation for processes, update standard operating procedures (SOPs), and create improvement roadmaps.
- Build partnerships with FP&A technology solutions and vendors to support automation and efficiency.
- Maintain knowledge of technological products and solutions to drive innovation in FP&A processes.
- Leverage artificial intelligence in transformation programs.
- Assist in building and maintaining the sales pipeline for FP&A solutions.
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client pitch preparation.
- Contribute to internal initiatives aimed at developing tools, templates, and accelerators for FP&A.
Qualifications
- A degree in Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
- At least five years of experience in FP&A.
- Hands-on experience with analytic tools and ERP platforms like SAP, OneStream, Board, and Anaplan.
- A proven track record of delivering transformation in FP&A and finance processes.
- Experience in FP&A within industries such as Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Telecommunications, or Media.
