We’re looking for graduates to join our diverse and highly capable teams across the FCA.
About the programme
During the Economics Summer Internship, your placement could include applying economic analysis to real-world regulatory challenges within the UK financial sector. You will work alongside experienced economists and policy experts, contributing to projects that inform the FCA’s strategic decisions and help shape the future of financial services.
You could be conducting research and data analysis to support evidence-based policy making, applying economic theory to assess market trends, and collaborating with teams across the FCA to evaluate the impact of regulation and propose solutions to emerging issues. You may also have the opportunity to present your findings and recommendations to colleagues.
This internship is designed to develop your analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, while deepening your understanding of how economics underpins effective financial regulation.
Note: Successful interns will be offered a place on our graduate scheme in the same location. Please apply for the internship in the location where you would also want to work as a graduate.
