Celonis is seeking a senior leader to join our team as an Enterprise Architect Director in London, United Kingdom. This pivotal role is designed for an individual with a blend of technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to engage with C-level executives. The successful candidate will lead a team of Enterprise Architects, driving the architectural strategy for our largest client accounts and ensuring alignment with our sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Enterprise Architects responsible for defining architecture, data, and cloud strategies for major client accounts.
• Act as an executive sponsor during pre-Sales and post-Sales phases, presenting strategic visions to C-level executives and collaborating with customer architecture and security teams.
• Guide the team in designing architectures that promote enterprise modernization, utilizing capability mapping and innovative technologies such as Agentic AI.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment between Celonis product and engineering teams and client teams to ensure high-quality technical service delivery.
• Oversee the evaluation of the IT landscape maturity of customer installations and coach Celonis account teams and ecosystem partners on architecture, integration, performance, and scalability.
• Direct the creation of reusable project assets and customer-facing materials, including position papers and thought leadership presentations on architecture and innovation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, including a strong background in managing Enterprise Architects or technical teams at a leading consulting firm or software vendor.
• Demonstrated strategic vision with the ability to connect technical solutions to business value and customer objectives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a history of navigating complex negotiations and presenting to C-level executives.
• In-depth knowledge of Capability Mapping, Enterprise Modernization, and Agentic AI.
• Solid technical foundation in Data Architecture, system integrations, data operations, automation capabilities, and familiarity with data-related programming languages such as SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, ServiceNow), cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures.
• An MSc degree in Computer Science or a related field in Information Technology.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in an additional language (Spanish, French, German, or Italian) is advantageous.
• Preferred qualifications include Celonis Certifications, leadership experience with OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines, and industry-standard certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP, ESB/ETL tools).
