As an Engineering Change Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex engineering changes into organized and traceable actions that drive the progress of advanced AI hardware. Your responsibilities will include coordinating product and manufacturing changes across intricate hardware systems, ensuring that all changes are thoroughly completed, reviewed, and implemented accurately. Your efforts will enhance visibility and maintain precise product records throughout the change process.
You will manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and deviations throughout their lifecycle. Additionally, you will support impact assessments and change reviews while ensuring effective communication across various teams. This position places you at the center of engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain operations, allowing you to document decisions and resolve issues collaboratively.
Team and Culture
You will join the Configuration Management team within Manufacturing Operations, which is responsible for product configuration, engineering change control, product data governance, and PLM processes. Your day-to-day activities will involve working across technical teams and manufacturing partners, tracking actions, surfacing blockers, and ensuring that changes progress smoothly. Good decision-making relies on accurate information and clear ownership, and you will help teams understand impacts and document decisions effectively.
What Weâre Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in engineering change control, product lifecycle management, or manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with PLM, ERP, or engineering data management systems, along with a solid understanding of bills of materials (BOMs), part numbering, revision control, and engineering documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple changes and track actions to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Desirable qualifications include experience in electronics, semiconductors, computing, or complex hardware product development, as well as practical experience with controlled change processes such as ECRs, ECOs, ECNs, or deviations. Familiarity with Arena PLM and experience supporting or coordinating Change Review Boards or Change Control Boards would also be beneficial. A relevant degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
