We are seeking a skilled and experienced CPU Design Verification Engineer at a senior level to join our team in Cambridge, UK. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive verification plans for CPU designs, ensuring that all functional and performance aspects are thoroughly validated.
Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing advanced verification methodologies and tools to validate CPU designs, collaborating with design engineers to identify and resolve design issues early in the development process, and participating in the development of verification environments and testbenches. You will also analyze verification results and provide detailed reports on your findings, along with recommendations for design improvements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and guide them on best practices in verification methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in CPU design verification or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Experience with verification tools and methodologies, including SystemVerilog, UVM, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
