Join our audit team on a 12-month paid placement as part of your sandwich degree, where you will gain practical experience while working alongside current trainees and seasoned audit professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in real client work, receive on-the-job training, and access internal training courses to enhance your skills throughout the year. If you perform well, there may be a chance for you to secure a position in one of our graduate training programs upon completing your degree.

As a member of our audit team, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls. This work is essential for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and fostering trust among stakeholders. You will quickly become an integral part of our team, initially collaborating on larger projects before taking on individual responsibilities.

We are looking for candidates who possess passion, personality, and originality. To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification.
• Alternatively, 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Enrollment in a placement degree program.
• A permanent right to live and work in the UK.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data for problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and maintain composure under pressure.
• A genuine interest in business and commerce, along with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Please note that RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The start date for this placement is 14 September 2027, and adherence to this date is mandatory as the training provided from day one is designed to ensure a successful start to your career with us.
