Join RSM for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in audit with a 12-month paid placement starting on 14 September 2027. As part of one of the world’s largest networks of audit, tax, and consulting firms, you will gain invaluable experience working alongside current trainees and seasoned audit professionals.

During your placement, you will be involved in real client work, receiving on-the-job training and access to internal training courses designed to enhance your skills throughout the year. Your role will include conducting thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls, which is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and fostering trust among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Become an integral member of the audit team from day one, engaging in client work quickly.
• Work collaboratively with a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and not-for-profit organizations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A levels or equivalent, or 104 UCAS points from four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Enrollment in a placement degree program.
• Permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and maintaining composure under pressure.
• A genuine interest in business and commerce, along with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
