Audit Placement – London – September 2027 Overview

Join our audit team for a 12-month paid placement starting in September 2027, where you will gain invaluable practical experience while working alongside both trainees and seasoned audit professionals. This opportunity allows you to engage in real client work, receive on-the-job training, and access internal training courses designed to support your development throughout the year.

As part of our audit team, you will conduct comprehensive, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and in fostering trust and confidence among stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Become a key member of our team from day one, quickly getting involved in client work, initially as part of a larger team before taking on individual project responsibilities.
• Work with a diverse array of clients, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and other not-for-profit organizations.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification), or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Enrollment in a placement degree program.
• An existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely with team members and clients.
• The ability to analyze and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and remain calm under pressure.
• A genuine interest in business and commerce, along with strong organizational and time management skills.
• A willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Please note that RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Your start date will be 14 September 2027, and this date is mandatory as the training provided from day one is designed to give you the best possible start to your career with us.
