In the role of Associate Manager for Scaled Advocacy Services, you will play a crucial part in the Product and Business Strategy team at Google. Your primary focus will be to unite various teams across the organization to ensure optimal execution of products while driving Googleâs scaling efforts. This involves refining products and infrastructure through effective execution, sound business judgment, and collaboration across different organizational lines.
Your responsibilities will include implementing the Knowledge and Information (K&I) Trust scaled advocacy strategy, which encompasses creating external assets related to information literacy, sensitive content, vulnerable user journeys, and privacy. You will lead the development of integrated campaigns that align with product needs and advocacy strategies, aiming to enhance awareness and improve sentiment among Key Opinion Formers (KOF).
Additionally, you will provide scaled advocacy support through cohesive, evidence-based impact measurement and establish processes for feedback tracking and analysis. Your role will also involve amplifying Communications, PR, and Marketing efforts by supporting complementary stakeholder engagement initiatives. You will work closely with other teams and external stakeholders to execute a programmatic campaign strategy, clarifying target audiences, messaging frameworks, and creative direction across various channels.
To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent practical experience, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics within a technology company. You should have experience in data analysis, communications, and policy. An advanced degree is preferred, as is experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with product and engineering teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
This position offers a competitive salary between $126,000 and $180,000 (USD), a 15% bonus target, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package. The working pattern is hybrid, with opportunities based in London, UK, or New York, NY, USA.
