Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Magento Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and software engineering, with a focus on Magento eCommerce platforms. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as experience with IT infrastructure and application development. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients online shopping experience and ensuring the functionality of our eCommerce systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Magento-based applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, scalable code using PHP and other relevant programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Ruby on Rails.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality and streamline processes.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify bugs and ensure quality assurance.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage version control using GitHub or SVN for collaborative development efforts.
• Optimize database queries using MySQL or SQL to improve application performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Experience

• Proven experience in web development with a strong focus on Magento platforms.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles for seamless integration with external services.
• Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile practices.
• Experience in application security concepts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
