Infact , i had the 2 different version of the same App installed on my phone of which one was installed from Marketplace and the new one was sideloaded or a developer App.
How to find if an Windows Phone App is installed from Marketplace or Sideloaded ?
Here’s a simple idea to find out if the Windows Phone App is installed from Marketplace or Sideloaded .
1. Tap and hold the App icon in the App list .
2. This will show a context menu with list of options .
The App that is sideloaded or loaded by the developer will not have the “Rate and Review” option in the context menu .
