- Get the Embed Code:
- Go to the video you want to embed on an online platform like YouTube.
- Click the “Share” button below the video.
- Select the “Embed” option, and you will be provided with an embed code.
- Insert a Placeholder:
- In your Word document, place your cursor where you want to insert the video.
- Go to the “Insert” tab in the Word ribbon.
- Insert an Object:
- In the “Insert” tab, click on the “Object” button (the icon may vary depending on your Word version, but it often looks like a small cube or a document with a play button).
- Embed the Code:
- In the “Object” dialog box, switch to the “Create from File” tab.
- Paste the embed code you copied earlier into the “File” field.
- Click “OK” to insert the video.
